Land Development - when land is being developed or when land purchases are being considered it is often desired and sometimes necessary to have an aerial survey done of the land. This survey will not only give a view of the land impossible to appreciate from the ground but will also highlight road access, highway proximity, adjacent property types and waterways flowing through the land. This information is not only required to understand development possibilities but often is the basis of showing the worth of that land.
Real Estate transactions - when land or buildings are sold what better way to showcase property with aerial images that show it in its best light. Such images can be made quickly and large prints produced for use at exhibitions or meetings where the land, its access and amenities are being discussed and its proximity to important area landmarks show the true value of the property.
Construction progress - with large scale construction projects it is often difficult to get a good idea of progress from the ground. Aerial surveys of construction sites can be produced periodically that give accurate information used in contingency planning.
Insurance - buildings and property often need to be photographed to complete insurance applications based on land value. Also, insurance claims require that land or events on that land be documented from the air.
Visual Interest - it may not be as expensive as you might think to get high quality images of areas of interest that may unlimately hang in the board room or grace the office walls. Such images can also be used in brochures that attract new hires from other areas of the country when they see how close the office is to surrounding amenities.
